John Pipan

Planning Administrator 


John brings over 12 years of environmental consulting experience to Land Planning Hawaii, leading a diverse array of projects throughout the State of Hawai‘i. John graduated with Honors from the Cornell University School of Engineering in 2006 with a degree in Earth System Science. John lives in Hamakua on his five-acre farm with his wife and daughter.


Kimberly Chiodo 

Project Manager


Kim has over 10 years of experience in business administration and management. She moved to Hawaii after graduating from the University of Massachusetts and has lived on the Big Island for over 10 years. Serving as the project manager for our clients, Kim will bring the attention, oversight and professionalism needed to complete your project.

Katrina Kern 

Office Manager


Katrina is our Office Manager. She was born and raised in Pahoa until the age of 12. She then moved to a small town outside of Victoria, British Columbia on Vancouver Island. Once she graduated, she moved back to the east side of Big Island where she has lived ever since. Her background is in bookkeeping and office management.
